Halloween might be over, but the buzz surrounding the holiday has yet to die down. Every year, fans eagerly wait to see what their favorite celebrities will dress up as. However, Jessica Alba’s fans were left deeply disappointed in her as she decided to dress up as a beaten Nancy Kerrigan with bandages on her legs. After facing severe backlash for the same, it now seems that Jessica Alba decided to delete the photos from social media.
Jessica Alba deletes her Halloween photos after facing backlash
There is no longer any trace of Jessica Alba’s Halloween costume from 2026 on her Instagram, as she seems to have wiped it from the platform. For those unaware, Jessica recreated Nancy Kerrigan’s 1994 attack with her costume. She could be seen wearing a white dress, matching tights and ice skates, as well as a blood-stained knee bandage.
Even though Jessica deleted the pictures after facing backlash, many social media users had already screenshotted and reshared them, leading the pictures to go viral. The actress originally captioned the post, “Happy Halloween from Tonya [Harding]…and Nancy.” In the picture, Jessica’s friend, Kelly Sawyer, stood while wearing a sparkly maroon ensemble.
Kelly also held a baseball bat in her hands, seemingly a reference to the police baton used by Shane Stant, the man hired by Harding’s ex-husband who infamously assaulted Nancy Kerrigan in January 1994. The incident took place ahead of the Olympic qualifiers, forcing Nancy to withdraw.

While Tonya Harding was never criminally convicted of any involvement in the attack, she did receive a lifetime ban from the U.S. Figure Skating Association. Recently, she went public with her plans to return to the sport. On the other hand, Nancy Kerrigan also seems to be doing better than ever in recent years and is frequently spotted on the ice.
Expressing their distaste for Jessica Alba’s choice of costume, a user wrote, “Immature. We expect better, Jessica.” Another questioned both the actress and her friend, writing, “Why would you want to revisit this traumatic moment that ended people’s careers?”A third user referenced Martha Stewart dressing up as a homeless person on Halloween despite being one of the wealthiest lifestyle personalities in America and wrote:
“Wow, first Martha and now Jessica. Why are we being nasty this Halloween?”
Amid the train of criticism, a few Reddit users came to Jessica’s defense. They pointed out that it has already been decades since Nancy Kerrigan’s assault. A comment read:
“Eh. It’s been over 30 years; there’s been two feature films and, like, five made-for-TV movies about it,” one pointed out. “Seems like a pretty tame joke at this point.”
Jessica Alba wore her Nancy Kerrigan costume to a “Hockey Horror” themed party
Jessica Alba reportedly wore the costume to Vas J Morgan and Michael Braun’s “Hockey Horror” themed Halloween party in Los Angeles on October 31, 2026. It was a star-studded affair. Photos shared by Deuxmoi on Instagram showed Jessica posing for photos on the ice amid several celebrities who joined the celebrations.

According to reports, Paul Wesley attended the Halloween party with his wife, Natalie Kuckenburg, wearing a ‘Jason Voorhees’ costume as a nod to the Friday the 13th franchise. Brooks Nader attended as a seductive “fembot” with the Austin Powers film series as her reference. Other well-known faces at the party included Machine Gun Kelly, Paris Hilton, Salma Hayek, and Natasha Lyonne.
