Katie Price’s life has been something of a rollercoaster in recent months, and the former glamour model suffered a fresh blow as she revealed her son Harvey had a fall at their home
Controversial Katie Price took some time away from her drama-filled personal life to update her fans on a series of mishaps that befell her son Harvey.
The former glamour model, 48, shocked the world when she walked down the aisle for a fourth time earlier this year following a whirlwind romance with businessman Lee Andrews.
It has since been one dramatic episode after another since they tied the knot in January, with the latest seeing reports Lee had disappeared. It was later claimed he is being held in Dubai prison on suspicion of espionage.
Katie refused to talk about Lee on the latest episode of her podcast, The Katie Price Show, as she planned to release a special Lee-focused episode for subscribers later on.
Instead the mum-of-five shared an unfortunate incident for her eldest child Harvey, 24, at the family home.
She said: “I’ve got Harvey again, he’s sitting over here, and poor little Harv, he fell over in the hallway and he’s got a little limp at the minute.
“And his tooth’s hurting him so I’m going to the dentist’s with him today, he’s in the little wars.”
Katie has an extremely close relationship with Harvey, who has a number of health issues. He is partially blind as he has the rare condition septo-optic dysplasia.
He has also been diagnosed as autistic and has Prader-Willi syndrome, a rare genetic disorder with symptoms including weak muscles and slow development. Additionally, Harvey has ADHD and oppositional defiant disorder, characterised by a persistent and ongoing pattern of uncooperative, hostile, and defiant behaviour.
Katie says Harvey’s biological father, former footballer Dwight Yorke, hasn’t been in contact with his son since they talked over the phone in 2010.
The star then went on to reveal how she racked up £1,400 in parking tickets while she was on tour with Kerry Katona last year, something her sister Sophie said makes her “physically sick”.
Katie and her sister followed this by saying they will “skip the Lee stuff” before releasing a standalone episode on the drama.
She said “We’re skipping the Lee stuff – it’s got so out of hand and I just need some quiet from it.” Sophie agreed that they were moving past the drama for that episode, but had some choice words about her sister’s behaviour, implying she would be embarrassed later on.
Sophie said: “I think you’ll look back in a few years and think ‘Actually, I was a bit of a kn*b back then and this whole situation was nuts.’”
After Katie married Lee there had been speculation that the Price family were growing tired of Katie’s behaviour, but Sophie has never confirmed this.
Katie responded: “It is a bit nuts, but as I’ve said, there’s so much stuff that I can’t even keep on top of everything myself. I’m in good spirits.”
