A vampire facial is a PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) treatment in which doctors use the patient’s plasma to rejuvenate their skin. The cosmetic procedure is used to improve skin tone and texture, smooth fine lines, and even promote hair growth.
Kim got the surgery back in 2013, and talking about the same procedure years later, the SKIMS founder vowed that she would never get that particular procedure done ever again. Sharing more about the same, on her website, Kim Kardashian mentioned that right before she signed the papers to try the procedure, she found out that she was pregnant.
To mention, during that time, Kim was pregnant with her first child, North West, whom she conceived within seven months of dating Kanye West. Kim’s first pregnancy wasn’t easy, and she said it was rough. Kim even thought that she had a miscarriage as she was bleeding, and within six months of being pregnant, she thought she went into labor.
Speaking of the vampire facial, Kim said that, while she was expecting, doctors recommended she avoid any painkillers or numbing cream, which is why the experience was uncomfortable. According to Kim, it was extremely painful for her. Speaking more about the same, Kim Kardashian said:
“It was really rough and painful for me. It was honestly the most painful thing ever! It’s the one treatment that I’ll never do again. Even though it wasn’t for me, I know it has so many benefits for your skin. Kourtney is a huge fan and I know a lot of other people that love it, too.”
Kim Kardashian revealed being at peace with not being ‘perfect’
In another interview, Kim Kardashian revealed that she had never done any eyebrow extensions. SKIMS founder also said she hasn’t had her cheeks or lips filled. She also mentioned that she cares about looking good, while admitting that taking care of herself is also not easy when someone is a mom. However, when it comes to taking care of herself, she tends to do it at night after putting everyone to sleep.
Kim also said she’s totally okay with not being perfect, adding that she hasn’t always been like that. Kim gave an example of her wrinkly hands, adding that while she hates them, she has snuggled her babies with them, and the mom of four is at peace right now with not being perfect. Kim admitted to having realized that staying healthier is important. An excerpt from Kim’s statement could be read as:
“I hate my hands — they’re wrinkly and gross. But I’ve lived life and I’ve changed so many diapers with these hands and I’ve snuggled my babies with these hands, so I’m okay with them. [Getting older] doesn’t mean that I won’t strive for perfection, but you get to a point where you’re like, ‘Okay, my health is more important than anything else.’”
