Hyderabad: Union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy on Saturday took part in the Sadar festivities organized by the Yadav community in Narayanaguda–Chapel Bazaar to mark the Diwali festival.
Against this backdrop, the beautifully decorated ‘Baahubali’ bulls and bull kings were a major attraction during the celebrations.
“In the Sadar festivities unique to our Hyderabad, Yadav brothers spend the whole year meticulously grooming their bulls. They take part in these festivities with their families and friends, dancing and singing alongside neighborhood elders,” he added.
Speaking to media persons, he said that Sadar festival is a wonderful tradition unique to Hyderabad.
“I too have been taking part in these celebrations regularly for the past 30 years. I request everyone to attend in large numbers and make the grand Sadar celebrations, to be held in Narayanaguda on the evening of November 10, a success,” Reddy said.
