Kriti Sanon’s next film is likely to be with Vijay Deverakonda, her Cocktail 2 co-star Rashmika Mandanna’s husband.
The project, to be helmed by Hi Nanna director Shouryuv, is said to be mounted on a grand scale, with technicians from Hollywood expected to be part of the team. As per sources, the film’s pre-production is already underway and Kriti has read the script, is in talks with the team, and is keen to work with Vijay in the bilingual film.
“They bring very different temperaments as artistes. If all goes well, it could be a fresh screen pairing,” according to sources.
Kriti, who shares a close friendship with Rashmika, was one of the few guests from Bollywood at the couple’s wedding reception in Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, Rashmika, who is currently shooting for Mysaa, will be the leading lady for Dhanush’s next, directed by Sekhar Kammula. She will head to Japan later this month to present at the Anime Awards and soon after that, join Kriti for Cocktail 2 promotions.
Both leading actors are already turning heads with their striking appearances in the quirky love triangle.
