Katie Price’s husband Lee Andrews has claimed that he landed a surprise role in EastEnders – despite not being able to leave Dubai.
Lee Andrews has reportedly claimed that he has a cameo coming up in EastEnders – despite not being able to leave Dubai due to a travel ban. The businessman has yet to step foot in the UK following his wedding to Katie Price at the beginning of the year, and has yet to even meet her family, even though he alleged that he had adopted her five children.
In the latest twist, he has now suggested that, days after leaving prison, he will be swapping the UAE for Albert Square very soon. The self-proclaimed millionaire has claimed that he will be rubbing shoulders with Walford residents very soon and could even be appearing in the Queen Vic, after impressing a BBC casting director.
In a new Cameo video filmed in Dubai and shared with The Sun, he told a fan: “Between you and me, I’ve got a little cameo coming on EastEnders. I’m trying to get Kate on there as well.
“I’ve been speaking with the BBC casting director. I’ve got some projects lined up. Let me get to England, let’s do it. Me in the Queen Vic, you know, ‘Get out of my pub,’ I’ll do it.”
However, Lee might want to pause learning any lines as a source has since told the Mirror that this couldn’t be further from the truth, and there are currently no plans at all for the entrepreneur to appear in EastEnders.
He has rarely been out of the headlines since walking down the aisle with Katie in January and, following a brief stint behind bars, he is cashing in on the interest by charging people £17 for personalised Cameo videos.
In some of his latest clips, he has claimed to have adopted Katie’s five children – something Peter Andre, who shares Junior and Princess with the former glamour model, quickly shut down.
He also spoke of his bond with the Celebrity Big Brother star, and said they found a shared “empathy” with animals.
Katie will be giving fans a closer look into their relationship as she has flown out to Dubai in a bid to grill her husband, following his mysterious disappearance last month.
It has been claimed that their sit-down chat will be filmed, with Lee facing questions over his whereabouts, as well as speculation over his recent arrest.
The Mirror has contacted BBC reps for a comment.
