Love Island stars Samie Elishi and Tyrique Hyde are expecting their first child.
The Islanders announced they were dating earlier this year and have now announced that Samie, 26, is pregnant in an adorable video together on Instagram.
In the video, Samie and Tyrique were seen giggling in excitement as they saw the ultrasound of their child for the first time. Tyrique, 27, looked like he could hardly believe it as he held the scan pictures in his hands.
Sharing the video to Instagram, Samie just posted a heart emoji. It didn’t take long for the couple’s fellow Islanders to flock to the comments and share their congratulations, with Olivia Attwood writing: “Congratulations cherubs!!!!”
While Jess Harding wrote: “Ahhhhh mum & dad can’t even cope.”
Sammy Root commented: “CONGRATULATIONS BOTH OF YOU!!!!!!” While Mitchell Taylor wrote: “Yooooo congratulations you two this is AMAZING.”
Samie and Tyrique starred on different seasons of Love Island in the same year, with Samie appearing on the winter version in 2023 – which was won by Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan – and Tyrique on the summer version, during which he was coupled up with Ella Thomas.
