Emergency teams have been searching at a waterfall beauty spot near Loch Lomond after a woman was reported in difficulty in the water.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and Police Scotland were called to the Falls of Falloch near Crainlarich at about 22:45 on Friday.

Killin Fire Station said water rescue units from Oban and Stirling were sent to the scene.

Officers closed the nearby car park and urged visitors to avoid the area while search operations continued on Saturday.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Emergency services are at the scene, and water searches are being carried out.”
