NASCAR is taking its biggest end-of-season celebration to a new city in 2026.
The sanctioning body announced Thursday that the 2026 NASCAR Awards will be held Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County, bringing the ceremony to Miami just two days after the Cup Series championship is decided at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The move creates a much tighter finish to NASCAR’s season. Rather than leaving Championship Weekend and reconvening weeks later in another part of the country, NASCAR will crown its Cup champion on Sunday, Nov. 8, and then shift the celebration roughly 30 miles east to Miami.
It will also mark the first time NASCAR’s awards for all three national series will be held together in Miami, with the Cup Series, O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and Craftsman Truck Series champions all set to be honored.

The location is a departure from last season, when NASCAR held its awards ceremony in Scottsdale, Arizona.

This time, NASCAR is effectively extending Championship Weekend beyond the racetrack.
The Cup championship race at Homestead-Miami Speedway will take place Sunday, Nov. 8. Two nights later, drivers, teams and other figures from across the sport will gather at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the NASCAR Awards.
“The championship is the culmination of everything our drivers and teams work for all season, and we want the celebration that follows to feel just as big,” Michael Verlatti, NASCAR President, Signature Experience Group, said in the announcement.
“Miami is one of the world’s most dynamic cities, and it provides an incredible backdrop to celebrate our champions and bring the energy of Championship Weekend into a new setting. We’re excited to give our fans and industry a NASCAR Awards experience unlike any we’ve had before.”

That proximity is notable.
NASCAR’s championship finale returned to Homestead-Miami Speedway this season, and the new awards location allows the sport to keep its teams, champions and attention centered on South Florida after the final checkered flag falls.
The ceremony will honor the newly crowned champions from all three national series along with the drivers, teams and personalities who helped shape the 2026 season.
How to watch the 2026 NASCAR Awards
Fans will also be able to watch the ceremony without a traditional television subscription.
The 2026 NASCAR Awards will be livestreamed beginning at 6 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Nov. 10, exclusively on the NASCAR Channel.

NASCAR’s free, ad-supported streaming channel is available through Xumo Play, Tubi, The Roku Channel, Samsung TV Plus and Prime Video.
The Miami ceremony will be reserved for NASCAR’s three national series. NASCAR said it will separately celebrate its regional and international series on Friday, Nov. 20, at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
For NASCAR’s biggest stars, however, the season will end with one extended stay in South Florida.
First comes the championship at Homestead.
Two nights later, Miami gets the celebration.
