Pussycat Dolls star, Nicole Scherzinger has been praised for her bravery at plugging on with the girl group’s tour despite suffering an horrific-looking injury backstage

Nicole Scherzinger has been told by fans to “heal quickly” after showcasing the brutal reality of touring with the Pussycat Dolls. The 48-year old and her bandmates Ashley Roberts and Kimberley Wyatt are currently on the UK leg of their PCD Forever Tour, which next stops at Newcastle’s Utilia Arena on Friday (October 9).

In snaps shared to Instagram, meanwhile, Nicole outlined the difference between “what they see” and “what they don’t see”. In her first image, she posed in full makeup and a sports bra, revealing her toned abs.

Nicole then pouted for the camera as she emphasised her dark brown tresses and pink lipgloss. Further images painted an entirely different story, however, with Nicole’s lower leg covered in a nasty gash and several grazes that had heavily impacted her skin.

A second person shared: “So gorgeous and I wish you a speedy recovery. A third declared: “You’re a warrior girl! Going on stage and performing like this with this injury. You have all my respect.”

While a fourth Instagram user mused: “How you continued to put on a show even after that! Incredible.”

In response to those who questioned how Nicole had suffered such a nasty injury, meanwhile, another fan was on hand to advise: “For everyone asking what happened, she spilled boiling water on herself an hour before a show and those are the burns from it.”

However, the fan conceded: “I’m sure it stung like a b**** during the show. Would have been nice if she said what happened in the caption though… it’s definitely clickbait.”

Indeed, the painful injury occurred last week when Nicole spilt boiling water over her lower leg shortly before taking to the stage in Germany. Now, a week on, she has shared new photos and an update on her bloodied and bruised leg injury.
