Nizamabad: Nine victims of an alleged UK job-placement fraud have approached the CM Pravasi Prajavani grievance redressal platform, seeking government intervention to recover money they allegedly lost to a racket run by “Nandus World, UK”.
The victims, from Hyderabad, Warangal, Secunderabad, Guntur, Siddipet and Surat, alleged that they were lured with promises of jobs and work visas in the United Kingdom and collectively paid crores of rupees to the accused, identified as Madhukar Jagarlamudi, Ramanandana Anne and Mohan Rao Jagarlamudi.
They said neither jobs nor visas were provided and the money was not refunded.
The victims submitted their grievances to CM Pravasi Prajavani in-charge and Telangana State Planning Board vice-chairperson Gadwal Vijayalaxmi, who heard their complaints and assured them of action.
The victims also submitted representations to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and DGP C.V. Anand, seeking registration of a case by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW), a detailed investigation, freezing of the accused’s bank accounts and recovery of their money.
One of the victims, Brijeshkumar Ramesh Bhai Jivani, had already lodged FIR No. 141/2026 at Addanki U.P.S. police station in Andhra Pradesh on July 4 against the same accused, the victims said.
The victims were represented by State NRI Advisory Committee chairman Ambassador Dr B.M. Vinod Kumar, with support from volunteer Gangula Muralidhar Reddy and liaison officer Bhargavi Naddunuri.
