Sherrone Moore’s ex-assistant and mistress Paige Shiver tearfully revealed Friday that she lost the disgraced former Michigan University coach’s baby due to a medical emergency.

Shiver, 32, became pregnant during her years-long relationship with Moore but despite wanting to keep it, was urged by doctors and Moore to end the pregnancy after she was diagnosed with Pompe Disease, a rare genetic disorder, she said in her full sitdown interview.

“Multiple doctors and experts told me that it wouldn’t be right or healthy for me to keep the baby,” Shiver told ABC News’s “Good Morning America” while wiping away tears.

When she approached Moore about what to do about the baby, he told her, “You have to do what’s right for your body,” Shiver said.

Shiver opened up about her tumultuous relationship with Moore and how it ended in December when he broke into her house and threatened to kill himself after she reported their affair to Michigan University officials.

She admitted she had thought she was in love with Moore, who is married with three children, until hindsight showed her what it really was.

“I did [love him], but obviously looking back at things and really reflecting on what happened, what was happening … It’s not love at all,” she said, saying she feared for her life when he stormed in after she reported him.

Moore, 40, was fired from his $5.5 million-a-year gig after just two seasons in December after Shiver, 32, turned in evidence of their affair to the school, with the school claiming he had an “inappropriate relationship” with a staffer.

Hours after learning he was canned, Moore barged into Shiver’s home, grabbed her butter knives and scissors and threatened to kill himself.

“My blood is on your hands. You ruined my life,” he told her.

Moore faced up to five years in prison on home invasion and stalking charges. He pleaded down to the lesser crimes of malicious use of a telecommunications device and trespassing.

In addition to 18 months probation, he’s also been ordered not to contact Shiver.
Michigan replaced Moore with Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham on December 26.
