However, the Pens still have plenty of work to do if they want to complete a miraculous comeback. They remain one loss away from elimination, and an NHL team hasn’t pulled off a reverse sweep since 2014.
The series will now shift back to Pittsburgh for Game 5. With the home crowd behind them, the Penguins will try to chip away at the Flyers’ lead and send the series back across the state for Game 6.

7 p.m.: It’s the top of the hour, and puck drop is moments away.
Through four games, the Battle of Pennsylvania has lived up to every expectation. Now, the teams return to PPG Paints Arena with much different stakes.
For the Flyers, a win would cement their place in the second round for the first time since the 2018-19 season. The Penguins, with a win, will live to see another day.
So, will the Penguins extend the season? It’s time to find out.
6:54 p.m.: If the Penguins are going to extend the season and get their first home win in the series, they need to find a solution for Dan Vladar.
Before Game 4, the Flyers goaltender, who put up career highs in almost every category in the regular season, let up just four goals in three games, including a shutout in Pittsburgh in Game 2.
