‘People Are Disappearing’: David Wilcock Said He Was Grateful To Be Alive Post UFO Theorists’ Deaths

David Wilcock, the paranormal writer, UFO expert, YouTuber, and filmmaker, has been grabbing the headlines for a while now, with reports suggesting that he is dead. According to reports, he was allegedly found dead by the Boulder County officials who had responded to a 911 call about a possible “mental health crisis.” While many are still trying to figure out if David Wilcock has truly passed away, his remarks on how he is grateful to be alive while “people are disappearing” just two days before his reported death have garnered attention.

For those unaware, just two days before the rumours of David Wilcock’s death took over the internet, he had streamed live on YouTube. During the livestream, he spoke about how much he appreciates being alive, especially after the enigmatic deaths of the UFO theorists. 

It was at the beginning of April 2026 that a former Ancient Aliens contributor, Nick Pope, passed away. To mention, this was two months after he had announced his stage IV oesophageal cancer diagnosis. Before Nick, Erich von Däniken, who was a Swiss conspiracy theorist, died in January 2026. Referencing the sudden deaths of his fellow authors, David Wilcock said:

“I’m excited to be here, you know, every day that I have on earth is a gift and a blessing, and I’m grateful for that, because frankly, people are disappearing. Scientists are going missing.”

David added that they are now saying they will investigate this. He claimed that the President himself had said they would look into this matter and see if anything was going on. The 53-year-old said that all of it is a little bit scary. Stressing on how he “had a rough week,” David remarked, “I gotta say it’s a little bit scary, but you guys knew that I might still show up even though it was last minute, and I’ve had a really rough week. Like, you know, that’s kinda like every week, but somehow we keep on making it through all of this.” David finally concluded his three-and-a-half-hour livestream by expressing his gratitude to his viewers and talking about how much he appreciates them. 

Florida Representative Anna Paulina Luna confirmed David Wilcock’s death

According to a media statement from the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, David Wilcock allegedly took his own life outside his home in Nederland, Colorado, though the statement did not identify the YouTuber by name. Later, Florida Representative Anna Paulina Luna took to her X and tweeted about his death. She wrote:

“We just learned about the tragic passing of David Wilcock. We are praying for his family and loved ones and the millions of lives he impacted. John 8:32.” 

Statement released by the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office 

As per a media release from the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Boulder County Communications had received a 911 call back on Monday, April 20, 2026, at 10: 44 am. According to the press release, the call in question was about “an unknown problem” located near the 1400 block of Ridge Road in Nederland. The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office then elaborated, “The emergency communications specialist who took the call suspected the caller was experiencing a mental health crisis.” 

Following this, Boulder County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the residence and arrived there at 11:02 am. This is when they established contact with the male, believed to be David Wilcock, who was in possession of a weapon. He reportedly used the weapon on himself and was soon declared dead at the scene itself. The sheriff’s office  stated:

“Deputies searched the residence and surrounding property and did not locate any other individuals. There is no known threat to the public. Detectives with the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office responded and are conducting a joint investigation with the Boulder County Coroner’s Office. The official cause and manner of death will be determined by the Coroner’s Office.”
