Perez Hilton Bodycam Footage Released, Shows Blood-Stained Walls Amid New Update From His Family

Perez Hilton’s TikTok livestream had left everyone shocked. In August 2026, the blogger went live, covered in blood, leaving many concerned. He was later hospitalized, and his family revealed that Perez was going through a mental health crisis when he took the drastic step. It has been three months since the tragedy, and now a police bodycam video from the day has been released.

Bodycam video from Perez Hilton’s house shows blood-stained walls

Three months after Perez Hilton shocked everyone with his TikTok live, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office released a bodycam video of the aftermath. In the video, the walls of his Miami home are smeared with blood as officers respond to the scene. The video was released on Thursday, November 5, 2026, and showed emergency crews responding to his home.

In the clip, several officials move in and out of the blogger’s South Florida home. The video shows Miami-Dade Fire Rescue medics placing Perez Hilton, whose legal name is Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr., on a stretcher on August 4, 2026, as emergency personnel prepare to transport him to the hospital.

While there is a lot going on, we can hear a police officer ask, “Alcohol, Prozac. What else?” The conversation continues to the medics discussing how they want to get the blogger out; one of them says, “What do you think? We should scoop him?” To which another agrees. As the commotion continues, Perez Hilton’s sister is also seen in the video.

She appears distressed, as she says, “Listen, as long as he’s alive, I don’t care.” She went on to thank the bodycam officer for staying back, and he asked her to get Perez some help. His sister immediately agreed, saying he wasn’t like this and had been fine. The video further showed the medics carrying Perez Hilton to the ambulance, asking him to keep his hands down.

Perez Hilton’s family shared an update on his well-being

Following the incident, Perez Hilton was placed in an ambulance and taken to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital for treatment. Authorities previously said deputies responded after receiving several calls about the TikTok livestream. Following his hospitalization, he underwent surgery due to the significant blood loss he had suffered and remained in the hospital before being moved to an inpatient facility.

According to an update by his family, in October 2026, Perez Hilton began the next phase of his treatment, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), while residing in supportive housing. He will continue to receive mental health care and support. In the update, the family revealed that he has been able to spend some time with them during approved visits and even got a chance to celebrate his mother’s 73rd birthday with his children. The statement read:

“He’s also been able to spend time with his family during approved visits, including a special evening celebrating his mom’s 73rd birthday together with the children. These moments together have meant so much to everyone. This entire experience has been a learning process for our family.”

They further admitted that the entire experience has been a learning process for their family, as they didn’t realize how much effort and time it could take for someone to recover from a mental health crisis. The update shared how there was no “one-size-fits-all timeline,” and they were learning the importance of learning things as they come. A part of the statement read:

“Like many people who have never been through something like this, we didn’t fully understand just how much time, care, and support recovery from a serious mental health crisis can require. Through conversations with others who have been through similar situations, we’ve come to understand that getting through the initial crisis is only the beginning.”

While Perez Hilton’s team and family are unsure of an exact date for his return home, the statement noted that they are “hopeful that day is getting closer.” In a previous update, the family had also confirmed that Hilton was able to communicate with his family during the hospitalization. They also acknowledged that his three children were safe and receiving the care they needed to recover from the emotional and mental trauma of the incident.

The incident drew widespread attention after video of the livestream circulated online. While some sympathized with Perez Hilton, others called him out for his controversial past. It also sparked a conversation about mental health. Months before the incident, Perez had also spoken about a serious medical emergency involving an ulcer and sepsis that left him hospitalized for several weeks.

In June 2026, he announced that he had moved from Las Vegas to Miami with his three children to live with his mother.
