Take a look inside Perrie Edwards and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s wedding day as they tied the knot in Portugal, four years after announcing their engagement
After a four-year engagement, Perrie Edwards and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain finally made it official as they walked down the aisle in Portugal, in a picturesque wedding.
The couple, both 32, were joined by their closest friends and family members as they jetted to the Algarve over the weekend, to say their vows in style. According to reports, the newlyweds – who share children Axel and Alanis together – held their big day at a small church in Quinta do Lago, with around 70 people in attendance.
The bride looked incredible in a floor-length white lace gown with long sleeves, scraping her hair into a slicked-back bun and accessorising simply with a bouquet of calla lilies – while her new husband opted for a dapper black tux.
Perrie’s six bridesmaids remained by her side, dressed in long, baby blue dresses, but her Little Mix bandmate, Jade Thirlwall, appeared to miss their nuptials after performing at Primavera Sound festival in Porto, and it is not known whether Leigh-Anne Pinnock was in attendance.
Alex was seen making his way into the venue with his dad, Mark Chamberlain, and brother Christian. He was also joined by fellow footballers Carl Jenkinson and Fulham’s Harrison Reed at the ceremony.
The Little Mix singer was first linked to the former England footballer at the end of 2016 and appeared to confirm their romance when she was seen cheering him on at an Arsenal game – they made their romance Instagram official at the beginning of 2017 during a loved-up getaway to Paris, before announcing their engagement in 2022.
“Perrie and Alex’s wedding day could not have been more special,” an insider claimed to the Sun of their celebration. “It was intimate and emotional.
“She looked absolutely radiant and Alex didn’t stop smiling. It was a truly beautiful day.”
