Police have appealed for help in their search for a missing woman who is heavily pregnant.

Leicestershire Police said Charlie Ryan was reported missing on Friday morning, having last been seen in the Groby Road area of Leicester near to New Parks Way roundabout.

The force said the 31-year-old is white, 165cm (5ft 5in), with bright blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, grey jumper, black leggings and black shoes.

Officers said they were “extremely concerned” for her welfare and active inquiries were continuing to find her.

Police said inquiries carried out so far indicated she may be in the Northfields area of Leicester.

Anyone who may have seen her or knows where she may be is asked to contact police.
