Premier League GW10: Sunday Predictions
Brighton vs Brentford
In a 14:00 kick-off, Brighton hosts Brentford. Keith Andrews did reveal in his pre-match press conference that Antoni Milambo will “probably not” be available for the game, but that he has trained “pretty consistently over the past week to 10 days and did a really tough session today.” Josh Dasilva was revealed to be “a little bit closer” to his return.

In the build-up to this game, Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler described Brentford as a “physical” team and one with a “clear style of play.” However, Hurzeler will have to do without Kaoru Mitoma, Stefanos Tzimas, Zadok Yohanna and Evan Ferguson, who all remain out. Ferdi Kadioglu could return, after missing the last three games with a hip injury.
Prediction: Brighton 2-1 Brentford
Crystal Palace vs Liverpool
At Selhurst Park, Crystal Palace will welcome Liverpool in another 14:00 kick-off. Pierre Sage will be without forwards Jean-Philippe Mateta and Ismaila Sarr for the visit of Liverpool. Mateta will be suspended following his red card against Tottenham, while Sarr remains injured.

Andoni Iraola revealed in his pre-match press conference that Ryan Gravenberch is his squad’s only doubt: “The only doubt we will have is Ryan. The others will be the same as we have been.
“The Ryan Gravenberch thing is a day-to-day thing, it’s a matter of pain. Let’s see if he can deal with the pain and he can help us.”

Ipswich Town vs Bournemouth
Ipswich Town face Bournemouth at Portman Road in another 14:00 kick-off. During his pre-match press conference Gary O’Neil confirmed “everybody is available” for the visit of Bournemouth. Sasa Lukic has missed the last three games through injury, but has returned to training and O’Neil confirmed there is “no reason why Sasa cannot start the game.”

“He has trained well this morning. He was excellent in that sort of midfield position, we did some important tactical stuff today,” added the Ipswich boss.
Bournemouth boss Marco Rose also spoke to the press and confirmed Eli Junior Kroupi “understands” that he needs to “improve his fitness level” before he is able to make a full 90-minute appearance, after his recovery from foot surgery.
Rose also revealed that influential midfielder Alex Scott has “started to train with the team” but “isn’t 100%” as yet.
Prediction: Ipswich Town 1-1 Bournemouth

Sunderland vs Chelsea
In the final 14:00 Premier League kick-off, struggling Sunderland host Chelsea at the Stadium of Light.
Sunderland boss Regis le Bris confirmed in his pre-match press conference that defender Nordi Mukiel “should be” available for the Chelsea game after missing the last two games.
Xabi Alonso will be eager to call upon Moises Caicedo, but the midfielder is a doubt for the game following his absence from Cobham earlier in the week. Alonso revealed: “He had little problems after the last game, so we expect to check tomorrow on different situations and Moi is one of them. It’s a discomfort, more than his calf.”

Manchester United vs Aston Villa
In the final Premier League gameweek 10 fixture, Manchester United welcome Aston Villa to Old Trafford in the 16:30 kick-off. During Manchester United’s dramatic comeback 3-2 win over Roma in the Champions League, Carlos Baleba picked up an injury. Michael Carrick has now confirmed in his pre-match press conference that the midfielder will be ruled out for a “number of weeks,” and his return will not come until after the international break.
Aston Villa boss Unai Emery met the press on Friday ahead of his team’s trip to Old Trafford, and confirmed Aaron Wan-Bissaka is “close,” but a decision was only going to be made after training yesterday. Emery also revealed Matteo Ruggeri is progressing well in his recovery. Matty Cash will also return for Villa following suspension.

Prediction: Manchester United 1-2 Aston Villa
The Last Word
It’s going to be an action packed Sunday. I see Brighton continuing their good start to the season and edging out a tough Brentford side. Palace have been unlucky in certain games this season, and I believe Liverpool will have too much firepower for the home side. Despite Bournemouth’s great recent form, they will have to be content with a point at Portman Road. Struggling Sunderland will be up against it, hosting Chelsea, who we expect to run out comfortable winners. Manchester United should be buoyed by their comeback win against Roma, but Villa will pile on the domestic misery for Carrick and win this one.
