Elvis Presley’s ex-wife, Priscilla, made a striking appearance at a showbiz gala in Spain last night. The 81-year-old, who has been keeping a low profile in recent years, attended a glamorous lifestyle event at Hilton Hotel in Majorca – and made sure all eyes were on her.
Dressed in a gorgeous cherry red A-line maxi dress, the star accessorised her look with a crossbody bag and bright red lipstick to match her hair. Rocking her classic smokey-eye with lots of black eyeliner, Priscilla stunned as she mingled with a whole host of revellers at the 14th Remus Lifestyle Night at Hotel Hilton Mallorca Galatzo.
The star was joined on the guest list by Penelope Cruz’s sister, Spanish actress and dancer Mónica Cruz and the O.C star Mischa Barton. In recent years, the Remus Lifestyle Night is said to be one of the hottest nights on Mallorca’s summer social calendar, attracting a slew of stars to the island for an evening of entertainment, luxury and glamour.
Priscilla, who married Elvis in 1967 before calling it a day in 1973, made her last major public appearance in March when she appeared at the Elvis Memphis Museum dedicated to the Blue Suede Shoes star in Denmark.
Her latest appearance in Majorca comes months after the release of her memoir, Softly, As I Leave You: Life after Elvis.
Detailing her life post-Elvis, the book is described as “the deeply personal story of what Priscilla lost and what she found when she walked away from the man she loved. Despite the legal separation, their love for one another transformed into a touching and tender dynamic that endured until Elvis’s untimely death four years later”.
Earlier this year, Priscilla recalled how her evenings with the rock and roll legend often revolved around late-night film screenings rather than intimacy when she was a teenager.
Speaking in May, the author said she and the late music star would screen films “every night” at Elvis’ Tennessee estate, Graceland, during the early years of their relationship.
Elvis first met Priscilla at a party in West Germany in 1959 while serving in the U.S. Army. At the time, he was 24 years old and she was 14. The two continued seeing each other until the singer left Europe, later reconnecting three years afterward when he flew her to Los Angeles and brought her out to Las Vegas.
Over the years, Priscilla has maintained that the couple did not have sex until they were married in Las Vegas in 1967, just three weeks before her 22nd birthday.
In May, during an appearance at the 2026 Old Bags Luncheon held at The Breakers in Palm Beach, she explained how they filled their evenings while dating, saying they watched “a lot of movies”.
