Revanth to Release ₹2,063 Crore Rythu Bharosa Funds at Kataram

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will release the second phase of the Rythu Bharosa investment support scheme at a public meeting scheduled on April 20 at Nasturpally village in Kataram mandal of Jayashankar Bhupalpally district.

In the presence of agriculture minister Tummala Nageswara Rao and IT minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, the Chief Minister will digitally transfer ₹2,063 crore into the bank accounts of 45,11,947 farmers across the state.
The second instalment covers around 36.72 lakh acres. Along with the first phase released on March 23, in which ₹3,590 crore was credited at ₹6,000 per acre, the government has so far disbursed ₹5,653 crore this season.
Officials said preparations are under way to release the third and final instalment to ensure timely support for agricultural operations.
Prior to the meeting, the Chief Minister will visit the Medigadda barrage of the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project to review its structural status, ongoing technical tests and restoration plans. He is also expected to review arrangements for the upcoming Saraswati Antya Pushkaralu at the Godavari in Kaleshwaram.
District collector Rahul Sharma and SP Sirishetti Sankeerth inspected the venue and reviewed arrangements, including seating, barricading, helipad management and parking.
Tight security has been deployed across the district in view of the Chief Minister’s visit.
