‘Ruined Her…’, Dianna Russini’s Husband’s Reason For Allegedly Hiring PI, Leaking Mike Vrabel Pics

Dianna Russini, an ex-NFL reporter for The Athletic, is currently generating immense buzz online. She is under intense online scrutiny following Page Six’s publication of seven exclusive photos of her and New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel on April 7, 2026. The images show them being affectionate at a luxury resort in Sedona, Arizona. The shots were taken on March 28, 2026, and after being publicised, they refuted affair rumours and maintained that they were hanging out with a bunch of other people. Amid that, Dianna’s comment about having some issues with her husband, Kevin Goldschmidt surfaced.

Why Dianna Russini’s husband might have hired a private investigator to spy on her and Mike Vrabel?

Just days after Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel sparked immense buzz with their hand-holding and hugging pictures, social media users came up with a theory that one of their spouses was behind the leak of their private photos. Initial reports claimed that a fan had a chance encounter with Dianna and Mike at the Arizona hotel, took their snaps, and shared them with TMZ; however, the angles and clarity of the zoomed images led netizens to think they were taken by a professional, specifically a PI (private investigator). Recently, a prominent sports radio personality, Jared Stillman shared that, a source close to Dianna told him that her husband, Kevin Goldschmidt hired the PI and leaked the photos.

Jared also shared the reason why he thinks so. According to him, it was a revenge move by Kevin against Dianna, with no financial motive. He mentioned Kevin is very affluent and wouldn’t aim to get money by putting a PI to spy on his wife. That left Jared with the other most probable motive, i.e., defaming Dianna and paving the way for a spear campaign against her.  shared that if Dianna’s husband actually plotted the entire PI thing with vindictive thoughts, then he had succeeded in it, as the alleged affair with Mark Vrabel “probably ruined her career.” The Game 102.5-FM host felt Kevin had “done a really good job” in executing the plan. His exact words were:

“…vindictive. And if that’s what the husband’s doing…bravo because he has absolutely tanked Dianna’s career. If the husband did hire the PI and if this is not about money then that means that the PI and the leaking of the pictures was all to smear Dianna’s name. And in this case, you’ve done a really good job of it. And it has probably ruined her career.”

Why would Dianna Russini’s husband want to take revenge on her?

Regarding why Dianna Russini’s husband would turn vengeful towards her, Jared shared in an earlier video that the former NFL reporter’s alleged public statements regarding Kevin might have hurt his sentiments. Jared thinks those remarks show how “little respect” Dianna has for Kevin. The second reason he presented was that if the couple were to get divorced, the Mike Vrabel affair angle would give Kevin an upper hand. Notably, their divorce buzz has been going on for quite some time due to her occasional jokes about their lack of intimacy, differences of opinion, and other issues.

Dianna Russini even once said that if her husband were a celebrity and more handsome, she would’ve posted him on social media more often. The chatter around their separation heightened after her rumours of an affair with Mike Vrabel surfaced. Summing up most of his claims, Jared Stillman wrote on X (formerly Twitter):

“Personally, I think it was Dianna Russini’s husband who hired the PI. Why? Because not only does he [Kevin] have the upper hand in a potential divorce but it bombs her career at the same. Mike Vrabel’s wife would have nothing to gain by these pictures being public.”
