HYDERABAD: South Central Railway (SCR) has won six awards at the 27th CII National Excellence in Energy Management 2026 summit here. The Kacheguda station received the “Excellent Energy Efficient Unit” award, while five other SCR establishments were recognised as “Energy Efficient Units” for their sustained efforts to conserve energy.
Lekha Bhavan, Central Hospital at Lalaguda, the Zonal Railway Training Institute at Moula Ali, Rail Bogie Karkhana at Yadgir and the Signal and Telecom Workshop at Mettuguda received the Energy Efficient Unit awards. Additional divisional railway manager Rama Rao received the awards on behalf of SCR. Senior SCR officials congratulated the teams on securing national recognition.
