Secunderabad: In a shocking incident, a man who fell under a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) bus was rescued by the police and bystanders on Wednesday afternoon.
As per reports, the man identified as Shiva Kumar was traveling on his bike towards Kharkana in the city when the TGSRTC bus rammed into him at the Jubilee Bus Station.
Shiva suffered grievous injuries when the bus traveling at a high speed collided with the bike, leaving him trapped under the front part of the bus with half his torso outside the bus and one of his legs crushed under the front end of the bus.
Locals passing through the road quickly alerted the Maredpally traffic police, who, along with other bikers on the road, made several attempts to extricate the man. Together, they partially lifted the bus and managed to bring him out and sent him to the nearest hospital for treatment. The incident caused a mild traffic jam, and police were called in to regulate the traffic.
