Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia stopped by Bigg Boss 20’s set for a promotional visit recently and what started as a routine chat about their upcoming film quickly turned personal. Salman, the ever curious host, steered the conversation straight towards Sidharth’s married life and his new chapter as a father.
When Salman asked about how fatherhood and married life had been treating him, Sidharth kept it simple and warm, calling everything “very good.” That answer was enough to set off a wave of nostalgia for Salman, who recalled the days when he used to nudge Sidharth towards settling
down, even joking about him eventually turning into a “sharmili dulhan” once the big day finally arrived.
The conversation soon shifted to Sidharth and Kiara Advani’s daughter, Saraayah, born in July last year. Talking about parenthood, Sidharth described it as “the best role possible,” lighting up while sharing how quickly she’s growing and learning new things, and how much joy she’s brought into their everyday lives. True to form, the couple has kept their daughter largely away from the public eye, with Kiara offering fans just a brief first glimpse of her back in January.
Naturally, Salman couldn’t resist pushing the moment a little further, playfully telling Sidharth, “Hopefully you will have another one soon!” It was all in good humour, with nothing more than a bit of on-show banter behind it, but the internet, predictably, ran with it anyway.
Beyond the family talk, the appearance was primarily meant to promote Sidharth and Tamannaah’s upcoming film, The Vvaan: Force of the Forest, which the two have been actively promoting across shows and events in the lead-up to its release.
Between old jokes resurfacing and a proud new dad opening up on live television, this conversation ended up being one of the more heartfelt moments the show has seen till now.
