Hyderabad: Six people travelling in a car were killed after their vehicle rammed into a stationary lorry on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Exit 16 on Friday afternoon.
According to police, the car, which was reportedly speeding, crashed into a lorry that was parked by the roadside. The impact was so severe that the car got wedged into the rear of the lorry and was completely mangled.
Five occupants died on the spot due to critical injuries, while another succumbed shortly after. Sources indicate that children are among the deceased. Several others were also seriously injured and rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
