Sophie Cunningham has revealed what many WNBA players have cited as a troublesome and scary part of the job.

During Wednesday’s episode of “This Past Weekend with Theo Von,” the Fever guard was asked about dealing with stalkers.

“The more you’re visible on TV, you’re gonna get more fans. People are gonna know who you are, and that’s a really great thing but there’s also a lot of crazy people too,” she said. “We do have a lot of stalkers, I know I do. That’s a negative side of things that people don’t think about.”

Cunningham said she even has members of the FBI watching out for her.

“I’ll have to check if I’m even allowed to say this, but I have, I think 20 people kind of that the FBI are watching for me. Me alone,” she added.

The 30-year-old hesitated when asked about the names of her stalkers, but she revealed one of them is currently behind bars.

“I don’t know,” she said. “I’m definitely not allowed to say that. I know one of them. I mean, he’s locked away now. Actually, this is public knowledge, his name’s Kevin. And the worst part about that, I have a miniature donkey named Kevin. Now, I’m like, ‘S–t, do I need to rename Kevin?’”

Kevin Singh, 49, was accused of stalking Cunningham dating back to September 2025 when he was allegedly caught on security cameras delivering a package at Gainbridge Fieldhouse with a note and cologne-scented Guns N’ Roses t-shirt.

He was arrested in June and booked the Marion County jail.

Singh messages ranged from, “Thinking about you. I love you, Soph,” to sexual comments like “Whatcha do in that hotel? Huh? Naughty girl.”

In a June 22 meeting with law enforcement, Cunningham initially dismissed the consistent messages and package, but as things escalated she began to stay home more frequently, per the Indy Star.

Signh was reportedly on probation in an unrelated case previously.

The stalking and intimidation charges, which are class 6 felonies, could warrant six months to 2.5 years in prison each.

His bail was set at $40,000 cash recently, but the judge denied the request.

Cunningham’s teammate Caitlin Clark also has dealt with stalker issues of her own.

Michael Lewis, a stalker of the 2024 Rookie of the Year, remains in prison after being sentenced to two and a half years in 2025.
