Formula 1 fans have praised Racing Bulls’ special Miami Grand Prix livery.
The Faenza-based team unveiled its vibrant yellow design, which is inspired by the Red Bull Summer Edition Sudachi Lime, during an event on a yacht at Kiki on the River in Miami.
Racing Bulls CEO Peter Bayer, team principal Alan Permane and drivers Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad were all present at the event.
Bayer said of the new design: “Miami has become a special place for Visa Cash App Racing Bulls to express who we are as a team. For the past two years, we’ve used this race to showcase something bold and unique, and this latest livery is no exception.
“The Red Bull Summer Edition livery brings a vibrant energy which reflects who we are as a team – creative and willing to push boundaries. We’re very excited to give wiiings to the new seasonal flavour and bring the distinctive design to track this weekend.”
Fans have praised the bold move from the team. “This is how special liveries are supposed to be done, go big or go home, no one wants to see a little yellow stripe,” one fan wrote on Reddit, while another added: “Whoever is in charge of RB’s liveries was a home run hire.”

“Finally, some colour on the grid. I wish we had a permanent yellow livery. Glares in Cadillac’s & Alpine’s direction. I just wish the wheel covers weren’t white,” someone else posted.
Another approving fan commented: “I approve forward, backwards, sideways, upside-down, and in all the other ways somebody can approve of something.”
Others called for the outfit to make the citrus yellow design a permanent feature. “I’ve seen enough, make it permanent,” one wrote.
The Miami Grand Prix weekend will run from 1-3 May and will feature the second sprint of the season so far.
