‘Summer House’ Reunion Part 2 Recap, Amanda Reveals The ‘Nail In The Coffin’ In Marriage With Kyle

If fans thought the Summer House Season 10 reunion couldn’t get any messier, Part 2 proved otherwise. From Kyle Cooke’s cheating caught on tape to Amanda Batula walking away from the stage crying, it was a nail-biting moment for the cast and viewers alike. After a shocking declaration of their separation earlier this year, the estranged couple finally pulled back the curtain on their marriage like never before. Amanda says there was one particular moment that ultimately led her marriage to fall apart.

To say that the three-part reunion was messy would be an understatement. After both Amanda and Kyle were seen wiping away tears at the end of Part 1, host Andy Cohen now pressed the estranged couple on when they truly knew their marriage was over. During Part 2, Kyle claims that Amanda had mentally checked out long ago, apparently before the filming of Summer House even began. However, for Amanda, the breaking point in their relationship came on New Year’s Day 2026. 

In case you forgot, Amanda and Kyle announced their separation via separate Instagram Stories on January 19, 2026. While Amanda had previously mentioned that they had separated just days before the announcement, we now have an exact timeline of how things unfolded. According to Amanda, she and Kyle spent New Year’s Eve separately. While Kyle was working a DJ gig, Amanda celebrated on her own.

Things took a turn the next morning, when Amanda woke up alone, only to learn that Kyle had spent the night at a hotel in Hoboken. Given Kyle’s repeated acts of unfaithfulness in their ten-year relationship, Amanda finally had enough. On New Year’s Day 2026, she decided to contact Bravo TV’s PR team to put out a statement before the season airs. An emotional Amanda can be heard saying:

“The nail in the coffin was New Year’s Day for me…I’m going into 2026 wanting to like have a fresh start, and he’s doing the same s— that he was doing that was pissing me off before… I contacted Bravo PR immediately and I said, ‘I’m gonna put out a statement because I don’t want people watching this season thinking that Kyle and I are still together after I was treated this way the whole time.”

Kyle Cooke has previously admitted that he was unfaithful to Amanda during their relationship, but regarding what led to their marriage to fail, he had a different story to tell. According to the Loverboy founder, the couple officially decided to separate on the same day they released their statement to the public in January 2026, adding that he didn’t even have the chance to inform his family about it.

Things take a more dramatic turn when Kyle subtly confesses to cheating on Amanda. When Andy asked whether Kyle had been faithful during their marriage, Amanda immediately responded with a sharp “No!” The Summer House star went out to cite multiple incidents where Kyle behaved inappropriately, along with rumors that surfaced throughout their relationship.

Aamada shared an incident where Kyle allegedly asked another woman if he could kiss her during a party. She revealed that someone had once sent her a video showing him making out with someone while they were married. Kyle, however, denied having an affair or sleeping with another person, but admitted he had crossed boundaries. He confessed:

“There have been times where I’ve been out and I’ve been inappropriate. I will own it. Did I ever have an affair? No. Did I ever sleep with someone? No. Have I been completely starved and deprived of anything and everything from you? Yeah, and I’ve acted out.”

Well, the drama definitely did not end there. After fellow cast members Ciara Miller and Lindsay Hubbard pressed about her new relationship with Ciara’s ex, West Wilson, Amanda admitted that she wanted to be honest with Ciara about it, considering she was one of her closest friends on the show. She began to choke up as she admitted:

“I wanted to get to a point selfishly where maybe I felt I understood what was going on, because I was going to have to be honest with Ciara, no matter what… I felt embarrassed to have to say I have feelings and have kissed West, and he’s seeing someone else. I felt embarrassed having to say that to Ciara.”

As Amanda left the stage in tears, viewers watched in disbelief as West initially remained seated instead of following her backstage. Lindsay immediately called him out, “You should go after your f—ing girl. Get up and go after her, West. Be a f—ing man!” But just as Part 2 was coming to a close, another heated storyline was already brewing, this time, it’s surrounding West Wilson. With more explosive confrontations to come, another huge talking point was when Ciara and Kyle spoke with West’s ex, Meija Moreno, who claimed she and West were still in a serious relationship while much of the season was unfolding.
