Regarding how her mother reacted to her nude scenes, the 28-year-old actress made a shocking revelation. Sydney shared that her mom was supportive of her work. She added that her mother even visited her on sets and knew about the plot and what her character demanded. Sydney even had lots of discussions regarding her bare-body scenes with her mom, which explains why she was not dumbfounded or mad at seeing her daughter’s on-screen nudity. In her words:
“My mom visited me on set at the time, so she knew the story, and I talked to her a lot about it.”

“I don’t get nervous. I gained so much confidence and self-awareness on Euphoria. I think that the female body is a very powerful thing. And I’m telling my character’s story, so I owe it to them to tell it well and to do what needs to be done.”
