Tirupati: Telugu Desam has regained control of the urban local bodies in Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s native Chittoor district, winning both municipal corporations and five of the six municipalities.
TD’s partner, Jana Sena, captured the remaining chairperson post in Puttur, giving the alliance a clean sweep of all eight urban local bodies in the combined district.
