- Head’s recent performances included playing former Richmond FC owner Rupert Mannion in Ted Lasso. He also had notable roles as the Prime Minister in Little Britain and Uther Pendragon in Merlin.
- The actor was also famous for appearing in the iconic Nescafé Gold Blend adverts alongside Sharon Maughan between 1987 and 1993. The romantic coffee adverts ranked 20th on ITV’s Best Ever Ads list.
- His death comes just months after losing his partner, animal rights activist Sarah Fisher, who died aged 61 from anaplastic thyroid cancer in December. “We kindly ask that our privacy is respected at this difficult time,” the family said.
