The Pitt creator dismisses the theory related to ‘Dr. Michael Robby Robinavitch’

At the end of The Pitt Season 2, ‘Dr. Michael Robby Robinavitch’ was spotted holding the abandoned baby in his arms. He was heard telling the child that he was also left behind at the age of eight. ‘Robby’ said that he was able to deal with everything and that the child could also do the same. He even told the kid that things are going to be fine.

While the moment led to speculations about ‘Robby’ possibly adopting the baby, the show’s creator, R. Scott Gemmill, has denied the same. In a recent interview with TVLine, Gemmill said that they joked about it with sequences that had a Baby Bjorn, but it is not happening at all. Gemmill continued by saying:
“In those final moments with the baby, Robby finally puts her down and decides to go. Part of it is, he feels he has to go now because he’s talked about it for so long. One of the things we play in Season 3 is that he comes back, but he doesn’t come back to the hospital right away.”
Noah Wyle has previously explained the scene featuring the baby in another interview

Following the end of The Pitt Season 2, Noah Wyle appeared for an interview with USA Today, where he opened up on a few things related to his character on the show. The actor said that ‘Dr. Michael Robby Robinavitch’ finds some clarity while holding the child, and his plans for self-harm slowly disappear in that particular moment. Noah mentioned that while ‘Robby’ is determined to go on the motorcycle journey, things change for him when he holds the baby. Wyle continued and said:
