“The Paper” is a spinoff of the hit NBC sitcom “The Office” which takes place at a struggling Toledo newspaper. The series, which stars Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore and Chelsea Frei, debuted in Sept. 2025 and its second season will launch in September, it was announced this week.
The Mud Hens’ “Paper”-themed night will include an appearance by Oscar Nuñez, who plays accountant Oscar Martinez — a role he also played on “The Office” — on the show. Nuñez will be in Hensville Park, just outside Fifth Third Field, from 4:30-6 p.m. to sign autographs and pose for pictures with fans.
The night, in which the Mud Hens will face the Indianapolis Indians (the Pittsburgh Pirates’ affiliate), will also include a post-game fireworks show.
Tickets, $18-$21, are on sale through the Mud Hens’ website.
