Jake Hall shared a heartbreakingly haunting post 10 years before his death. The dad-of-one has left fans in mourning after it was announced he had died, aged 35, after suffering a ‘tragic accident’ while on holiday in Majorca.
Jake was found dead at a Spanish holiday villa after suffering from head injuries after it was claimed he’d been partying and decided to head back to the property he was renting. The reality star, who was reportedly found in a pool of blood with head wounds, caused by shards of glass after the ‘freak accident’, leaves behind daughter, River, who he shares with Real Housewives of Cheshire star, Missé Beqiri.
Almost exactly 10 years ago, Jake revealed he had cheated death in Spain after being stabbed. Taking to Instagram, sharing a photo of himself in hospital, he revealed he’d been rushed to intensive care after a terrifying attack in Marbella.
The TOWIE star, who had joined the show the year before the incident, was caught up in a fight between two rival gangs while enjoying a night out at the Spanish town’s Aqwa Mist.
Revealing he almost a kidney, Jake thanked fans for their support after being bedbound in hospital for six weeks, while claiming: “You can’t get rid of me that easily” in a now heartbreakingly haunting quote.
While in hospital, Jake remained positive and told his followers to “enjoy life to the full”. Sadly, just 10 years later, he’s now dead after the ‘freak accident’ in Spain, which has left a little girl without her dad.
Just hours before his death, Jake took to Instagram to share an insight into his trip to Majorca, with a collection of images and videos taken on his holiday.
Captioning his post, he penned: “Life is b*****ks sometimes but I’m gonna try remember the good things – looking through things – I’m just making art – in many forms.”
A host of famous faces have paid tribute to Jake following his death, including his former partner, Misse, who released a statement, saying: “At this time, Misse’s focus is on supporting and protecting their child as they come to terms with this devastating loss.”
Four men and two women who were also staying at the Majorcan villa with Jake are believed to have been questioned by police.
The six people are believed to have told police that they returned to the property in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Police were called to the address in Santa Margalida, in the north of Majorca at 7:30am local time. An autopsy is due to take place in the coming hours in the Majorcan capital, Palma, while the ongoing investigation is being carried out by the Civil Guard.
A police source said: “We are focusing on the theory the victim died in a tragic accident after hitting his head against the glass door but it is still too early to say definitely what happened.”
