The mystery surrounding the sudden demise of model and actress Twisha Sharma, 33, keeps getting more layered with every passing day. The 33-year-old former Miss Pune was declared dead from apparent suicide after she was found hanging on the terrace of her matrimonial home in Bhopal on May 12, 2026.
The case has now taken another turn after new CCTV footage surfaced showing her getting a pedicure and a head massage at a beauty salon located barely 100 meters from her matrimonial home.
Twisha Sharma appeared “completely normal” before death
In new CCTV clips obtained by NDTV, Twisha is seen getting a head massage and pedicure while appearing calm and relaxed. She reportedly arrived around 3:12 pm and left the salon at approximately 6:15 pm. The visuals have intensified speculation surrounding her state of mind before her death, especially as she looked completely relaxed and normal.
The salon’s owner, Kiran Parihar, has now alleged that Twisha’s mother-in-law, retired judge Giribala Singh, repeatedly contacted her the following day, making detailed inquiries about Twisha’s visit. She allegedly wanted to know exactly when Twisha arrived, when she left, how she paid, and whether there was any proof confirming her salon appointment.

The salon owner further mentioned that Giribala kept calling at the salon repeatedly and requested CCTV footage of the previous day. Parihar, who had no knowledge of Twisha’s mysterious passing, reportedly asked if she was alright. Giribala told her she had “died by suicide.”

Shortly after the conversation, Parihar claimed a group of five to six people dressed “like lawyers” arrived at the salon and demanded the footage. One of the women, also dressed in black and white, allegedly identified herself as an advocate and claimed police required the recordings. A CCTV technician was then called to extract the footage in front of her. For now, the identities of the group remain unclear.

Twisha’s family has repeatedly claimed she had been planning to leave her in-laws’ house rather than harm herself. The investigation has revealed that she had booked a Bhopal-to-Jaipur train ticket on May 12, 2026, and was expected to travel to Ajmer to meet her brother, Major Harshit Sharma, on May 15. These findings have further raised eyebrows about the suicide narrative. In a WhatsApp message allegedly sent by Twisha to her mother, the late model reportedly wrote:
“I’m feeling suffocated, Mom… These people won’t let me cry, nor will they give me a reason to laugh.”
Twisha’s family has accused her husband, Samarth Singh, and his mother, Giribala, of dowry harassment and mental torture. In a conversation with Times Now, Twisha’s sister-in-law, Rashi Sharma, also claimed that she “regularly mentioned harassment by [her husband] Samarth Singh.” Recalling Twisha’s final conversation with her family, Rashi mentioned her sister-in-law was “stressed and upset” because of Samarth’s behaviour. In her final days, Twisha allegedly kept on insisting to go back to he own home, resume her career, and start afresh.
Police, however, maintain that the post-mortem findings currently point towards suicide, although the Madhya Pradesh High Court has now approved a second autopsy.
Twisha Sharma’s husband surrenders in Jabalpur Court
Samarth Singh has finally arrived at Jabalpur District Court to surrender, after days on the run. He had reportedly been absconding for several days and was brought to Bhopal after withdrawing his anticipatory bail plea. His lawyer informed the MP High Court that Samarth was ready to surrender before the trial court or Katara Police Station in Bhopal. However, the matter has been adjourned for further hearing.
