In this reverse Dhurandhar formula, Ayushmann Khurrana will play the role of a Pakistani spy and make his way to India to do some snooping around. The movie revolves around the simple quote, “Pakistani Jasoos bana Hindustani deshbhakt.”
The biggest twist lands when he is subjected to an explosion and ends up losing his memory. While his entire memory goes haywire, with him not even remembering his own name, his sense of patriarchy remains.
Bilal Ahmad (Ayushmann Khurrana), in this unintentional comedy brimming with misinterpretations, starts abiding by this to the nail. The only problem is that, in an entirely UNO-reversed situation, he now works for the India Counter Terrorism Squad, leaving the Military of Pakistan in a state of turmoil.
Udta Teer will see the independent rap star Emiway Bantai making his long-overdue debut in Bollywood. He will be serving as the playback singer with the music composer duo Sachin-Jigar for a new track in the film.
Also making his official Bollywood debut is the helmsman, Aakash Kaushik, who will take on the reins as the filmmaker. While not having directed before, he has a considerable amount of experience serving as the dialogue writer and storyteller for projects including Bhoot Bangla, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Thank God, Housefull 4, and many more.
Alongside Ayushmann Khurrana, we will see Sara Ali Khan starring as the female lead. Other prominent names in the cast are Brijendra Kala, Gulshan Grover, Suhail Nayyar, Rahul Bose, Ram Kapoor, Mukul Dev, and others.
