Venkatesh’s upcoming film Aadarsha Kutumbam, which was scheduled to release on October 9, 2026, has been postponed. Producer Naga Vamsi, speaking at a press conference on Monday afternoon, confirmed the film’s indefinite delay, but has not announced a revised release date. Rumours are rife that Aadarsha Kutumbam will release on October 30. However, the producer said, “Venkatesh garu is in abroad and he is expected to return to the city by Tuesday. After he’s back, I shall discuss with him and decide on the release date. We are yet to confirm when to mount the film’s release.”
‘Wanted to deliver a superior product’
Naga Vamsi shared that the delay was prompted by the makers’ desire to offer audiences a better theatrical experience. He added that some post-production work, including sound and final mixing, is still pending. He also ruled out rumours of possible reshoots.
“We wanted to deliver a superior quality product; a film that satisfies all sections of the audiences. It’s a mistake to announce the release without watching the final theatre copy. We have realised that after watching some reels of the movie that having spent so much time and effort, we can’t afford to rush and deliver a substandard product. Perhaps, we should have been more cautious.”
The news of Aadarsha Kutumbam’s release delay has come as a huge disappointment to fans of Venkatesh and Trivikram. However, the makers have assured audiences that the delay will certainly be worth the wait.
