VISAKHAPATNAM: Tourists visiting Araku Valley now have a reason to cheer as Padmapuram Botanical Garden has reduced entry ticket prices and introduced new attractions to enhance visitor experience.
Following directives from the Paderu ITDA project officer, the garden has revised ticket rates, bringing adult entry down from ₹100 to ₹60 and children’s tickets from ₹50 to ₹30.
Officials said the move aims to make nature tourism more affordable for families, students and travellers, encouraging higher footfall at the scenic destination.
A Children’s Toy Train service was launched on June 12 and is already emerging as a popular attraction among young visitors.
The garden is also preparing to introduce KOI Water Dining, a premium dining experience set in a water-based ambience designed to offer tourists a unique leisure experience.
Authorities said development works are underway to transform Padmapuram Botanical Garden into a major nature-based recreational hub with modern amenities and sustainable features.
