Joao Felix opened the scoring for Portugal in their Nations League clash against Norway with a lovely strike from the edge of the box.

The Al-Nassr forward scored for the second time in as many games to put the Selecao 1-0 up after just 17 minutes in Oslo, finishing off a flowing move from the visitors.

Both sides had threatened in the opening stages but it was Portugal who went ahead when Nuno Mendes moved the ball up the pitch to Pedro Neto, who drove forward before finding Felix on the edge of the box.

The 26-year-old took a touch before calmly side-footing the ball into the bottom left corner in delicate style.

It is Felix’s second goal in as many games for the Selecao, having scored the winner in the 1-0 win over Wales last week.

Both teams are looking to secure back-to-back Nations League victories, with Norway beating Denmark 3-2.
