The Southeastern Conference offers no rest for the weary, as Texas A&M will look to dust themselves off and turn the page against the LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on Saturday.
Both teams are coming off tough Week 3 SEC losses that could make or break their programs moving forward. For the Aggies, it all starts with improvements on the offensive side of the ball. While much of the blame has been centered on the quarterback, Texas A&M’s offensive line has struggled to establish dominance in the trenches, which has impacted the success of the rushing attack and the time Reed has in the pocket.

Another important step for the team and offensive coordinator Holmon Wiggins is to find ways to get the ball in the hands of junior wideout Mario Craver, who is one of the most explosive athletes in college football.
Here is everything linebacker Daymion Sanford and Craver said during Tuesday’s media availability, as the Aggies prepare for a massive conference matchup in Death Valley on Saturday:
Sanford on how close he is getting to full health and back into the starting lineup
“I feel pretty good. Saturday, got back in and getting my feet wet again. I’m still trying to take it day-by-day so it’s just taking slow steps,” Sanford said.

“I felt like I played pretty good. I haven’t tackles since the spring so I made a couple tackles, trying to get that feeling back. It felt pretty good,” Sanford said.

“We’re going to have to bring it. It’s a night game, an away game and they’re coming off a loss too, so we’re going to have to bring it,” Sanford said.

“What I’ve seen in practice, he’s been commanding and leading, so I feel like I’m pretty confident in him to go out there and perform,” Sanford said.

“Just preparation (and) honing in on film study (and) the way we practice too. Practice last week was kind of loose, so more preparation,” Sanford said.
Craver discusses what the offense is focused on improving entering LSU week
“Honestly, just being able to finish drives. A lot of our drives we ended up in the red zone and didn’t end up getting points,” Craver said. “I think our main thing right now is being able to finish drives in the red zone and just being able to finish drives where we got in the red zone and drives where we had momentum,” Craver said.

“Throughout the offseason, I told you he’s got a lot better, and I’m not going back on that. Like he’s definitely got a lot better in every aspect of the game. I think last week he just got in his head a little bit and let the game get away from him a little bit,” Craver said.
“Most definitely. Everyone knows Terry and AB are a big piece of our offense (and) big piece to the team. With them going down, obviously someone is having to pick up the load. Honestly, it’s being able to just do what I do and keep playing,” Craver said.
Craver explains what the offense can do better to create more explosive plays
“Honestly, it’s just a slow start. We know that this offense has the capability of doing what we did last year. I don’t think it’s the playcaller, I don’t think it’s anything we just have to execute better as a team,” Craver said.
