His funeral took place on June 11, 2026, at 3:45 pm at Wadia Bungli, Mumbai. Although the cause of his death is not known yet. An excerpt of the post can be read as:

“Mr. Dinyar Tirandaz, brother of the late Rustom Tirandaz, has left for his heavenly abode. Paidust today at Wadia Bungli, Bombay, at 3:45 pm. Sarosh Yazad Ni Panah. Ashem Vohu. Co-owned a theatre company with his wife and was also the owner of a metal polishing firm.”

Soon after the Facebook group shared the heartbreaking news of Dinyar Tirandaz’s demise, tributes have been pouring in for the veteran actor. A family friend expressed his grief over his passing and wrote, “Very sad, irreplaceable, untimely, sudden passing away of a dear friend and co-artiste. I have known him and his late brother, Mr. Rustom Tirandaz and family for many years and also worked with him and his gracious wife in Ekta Kapoor’s first film production, Kyaa Kool Hain Hum, plus we used to meet regularly at various studios for auditions before COVID happened. Sarosh Yazad ni panaah ho jo ji and deepest condolences to his illustrious family and friends.”
