KT Smith had attended 10-15 schools while growing up

According to reports, KT Smith was born in Florida and lived there until she was 12 years old. Her parents got divorced when she was just a toddler, and after her dad died when she was 4 years old, her mother was the one to raise her. While she lived in Florida, Smith attended around 10-15 schools and often moved. At the age of 12, KT Smith moved to Knoxville, Tennessee, where her brother, her mom’s son from a previous marriage, lived. Even though her family continued to change houses quite often, Smith only attended two schools while living here, which led to more consistency in her life. Recalling the time, in her 2021 blog post, she wrote:

“Regardless of moving, my mom still gave me the best life, even being a single mom. We have the best memories together – and are still creating them.” 

KT Smith is a social media influencer 

KT Smith previously worked at her church as a social media intern and in sales while she was still in a relationship with Morgan Wallen. She then moved on to working on her apartment complex after she got into an accident and lost her car. Later, Smith’s social media career took off after she posted about her relationship with Morgan on Instagram, instantly gaining over 100,000 followers. After she became a full-time influencer, she revealed that she wanted to continue growing her business and also start a podcast at some point. She wrote on her blog:

“A social media management company reached out to me and asked me to work for brands full-time, and so I did just that. I ended up moving to a rental that was better suited for the little family we created and never went back to the apartment job after maternity leave.”

KT Smith and Morgan Wallen began dating in 2016

KT Smith and Morgan Wallen first met in 2016 and began talking over Snapchat. Their relationship progressed pretty quickly, and they soon started dating. And just a few months later, they decided to take their relationship up a notch by getting engaged. However, they called off their engagement later, though they remained in a relationship for two more years. This was the time when Morgan began gaining more fame, something which put a strain on him and Smith. They chose to keep their relationship more low-key, although Smith did join the singer at the 2017 CMT Awards. 

KT Smith and Morgan Wallen had an on-and-off relationship during their third year together 

According to KT Smith, the last year of her relationship with Morgan Wallen, which was in 2019, was a “rocky” one. She revealed that even though they lived together, the singer was not always faithful to her while he was on the road, and she couldn’t join him. She wrote on her blog:

“We were off and on the third year, still talking 24/7 and seeing each other every time he was in town, and I would still go on the road with him. But being thrown into the spotlight at such a young age is obviously going to come with some bad decisions. He wasn’t the most faithful.”

KT Smith and Morgan Wallen share a son together 

According to reports, KT Smith and Morgan Wallen conceived their son, Indigo Wilder, when they were already broken up. He was born on July 10, 2020, and Morgan revealed that he was a “changed man” after this. Announcing the happy news on social media, the singer wrote that he would be “the Dad you deserve as well as the co-parent your mother deserves.” Despite what Morgan said, co-parenting for the couple in the early days was extremely hard, as they faced several difficulties. Smith revealed that this was because they were both new to it, and she was still bitter towards him. But after some time had passed and Indie had become her life, she claimed she felt truly healed. 

KT Smith tied the knot with Luke Scornavacco

After her relationship with Morgan Wallen did not work out, KT Smith moved on to Luke Scornavacco. She went Instagram official with her new beau in June 2023 by posting photos from their trip to Florida. A year later, Luke proposed to her on March 29, 2024, and the following day, Smith announced their engagement on Instagram. A couple of days later, the influencer posted a carousel of pictures from her engagement photoshoot, including her son, Indigo. Smith captioned the photos, “Swipe for a surprise,” with the surprise being a picture of her and Luke holding a marriage license, meaning they had already married.
