The Detroit Lions once again had wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown on the injury report this past week ahead of the Week 9 game against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

St. Brown, who was listed with an ankle injury last week, came down with a rib issue in the Week 8 contest and turned in three limited practices before receiving the questionable tag.

There was no update for St. Brown on Saturday, which left his status in question as we turn the page to Sunday.

Here’s what we know about St. Brown’s chances of playing against the Dolphins in Week 9.

The expectation is that Brown will indeed suit up versus Miami on Sunday afternoon.

Here’s the latest from The Ringer’s Tom Pelissero.

“Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown — who is listed as questionable with a rib injury that limited him all week in practice — is good to go today against the Dolphins, per source,” Pelissero reported on Sunday morning.

No surprise here, as St. Brown is as tough as they come and almost always overcomes an injury to play.

That said, just make sure to double check the inactives when they drop around 11:30 a.m. ET to make sure.

According to Fantasy Pros, St. Brown enters Week 9 ranked as the No. 4 wide receiver in fantasy football, which makes him a locked-in WR1 play.

The Dolphins have actually presented a poor matchup for wideouts this season, with Miami giving up the fifth-fewest fantasy points per game to the position, according to CBS Sports.

But that stat is a bit misleading because the Dolphins have faced fewer passing attempts than any team in the league.

Even if you take that ranking at face value, there is no matchup for St. Brown that scares us. He’s one of the elite options at wide receiver in fantasy football and should always be in lineups.
