He welcomed Microsoft’s recruitment of 11 students from the YISU through campus placements, describing the achievement as a significant endorsement of the state government’s focus on industry-oriented, world-class skill development.
In a post on X, Revanth Reddy said that “Telangana Rising” was a story of several successes and that the hiring of 11 students by Microsoft from YISU’s Data Centre Management course reflected the success of the government’s policy of imparting industry-class skills. He said the achievement both endorsed and exemplified the state’s emphasis on skill development aligned with industry requirements.
Expressing satisfaction over the progress of the university, he said he was thrilled to see the vision behind the YISU becoming a reality by empowering youth with real-world skills rather than limiting them to textbook learning.
Revanth Reddy also highlighted the progress of the university’s permanent campus being developed at Bharat Future City, stating that the state-of-the-art facility was taking shape phenomenally well.
YISU had on Friday announced a major placement success, with 11 out of 14 students from its Data Centre Management programme securing jobs at Microsoft with annual salary packages of `7 lakh. The placements came from a batch of 14 students who underwent specialised training under the programme.
University officials said the outcome demonstrated strong industry demand for skilled professionals in data centre operations and related sectors. Describing the achievement as “a proud milestone in building industry-ready talent,” the university said the results reflected the effectiveness of its industry-focused training model and its commitment to enhancing employment opportunities for Telangana’s youth.
