NELLORE: The Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy-Kamakshi Thayi Temple at Zonnawada in Buchireddypalem mandal received offerings worth Rs 56.68 lakh through its hundis during the 95-day period from August 4 to November 6.
The hundi counting, conducted on Saturday in the presence of endowments department officials, temple chairman Tirumuru Ashok Reddy and trustee board members, yielded Rs 53,68,476 from the main temple hundis and Rs 3,00,487 from the annaprasadam hundi.
The offerings also included 71.8 grams of gold, 230 grams of silver, US $11, 160 Thai baht, 100 Singapore dollars and 10 Malaysian ringgit.
Temple executive officer Arvabhoomi Venkata Srinivasulu Reddy, officials, bank representatives, temple staff and devotees took part in the counting.
