VIJAYAWADA: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Mangalagiri, in collaboration with the Society of Cardiac Nurses (SOCN), organised a two-day national conference on ‘Strengthening Clinical Excellence in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS) and Cardiac Nursing’ from September 21 to 22.
The conference was held under the guidance of AIIMS Mangalagiri executive director Prof. Ahanthem Santa Singh. It began with a pre-conference workshop on Monday, attended by 100 delegates.
The workshop covered basic and advanced modules on the assessment and management of cardiac emergencies, along with hands-on clinical training.
Around 750 delegates from more than 30 nursing colleges and institutions across India attended the conference.
