Adam Thomas has had a tough time with some of his co-stars in the I’m A Celebrity South Africa jungle, and the actor has now claimed another campmate suddenly ‘stopped talking to me’

Adam Thomas has confronted another I’m A Celebrity co-star, whom he alleges made him feel a “little bit lonely” in the jungle. It’s been a difficult stint in South Africa for Adam, best known for his roles in Waterloo Road and Emmerdale, after clashing with fellow campmates David Haye and Jimmy Bullard.

Indeed, he has since admitted there were moments when he had a “bit of a tough time” with one particular campmate. Although Adam says he had an “amazing experience”, he feels the ITV show changed him, and he’s “in therapy now because of it”.

Adam has now spoken further about one other unnamed individual who made him feel a “little bit lonely” in the jungle, confessing that he’d messaged him recently to speak his mind and get things off his chest.

He doesn’t appear to be alluding to David or Jimmy, but the identity of this individual remains unclear.

His remarks came to light during a recent chat with his brothers, Scott and Ryan, on their podcast, At Home With The Thomas Bro’s, in which Adam was told it’s okay to have “boundaries” and to “stand your ground and not to be liked by everybody”.

The soap star agreed: “Yeah, and I think that’s what being in this series has taught me. And it’s just like, you know, even like this morning as well, like one of the campmates messaged me.

“And there was just something that was niggling me when I was in there. And I feel like you are writing what you’re saying, like, because of this whole experience. Like, I’m not taking s**t anymore. Like, I’m not.”

Adam decided that he wasn’t “standing for this” and would tell his co-star how he was feeling. He noted that the individual could “take it how they want to take it”, but said he felt better for sharing the message with his brothers.

Ambiguously, he went on to explain that a campmate had messaged him that morning. Adam acknowledged it was a “lovely message” from a “lovely guy”, but there had nevertheless been moments in the jungle when he felt that the individual had left him isolated, pointing out that he “wouldn’t do that” to him, so “why are you doing that to me?”

He continued: “I just messaged another…a guy that I was in the jungle with, and it was a lovely message. But there was a few things that was niggling me when I was in there, and he made me feel a little bit like…

“Nah, and he just made me feel, like, a little bit lonely, and you know we were like really good mates at the beginning and then all of a sudden, we went to make…and then he just, like, didn’t really talk to me anymore.

“Yeah, I just messaged him this morning and it just hurt my soul a lot cos I was like, ‘F**k, I wanted to be like…we were like mates and then all of a sudden there’s new campmates and you just like f****d me off a little bit and I was like, ‘Ah, gutted about that’.”

The Mirror has contacted Adam Thomas‘ representatives for further comment.
