Batesville once again reigned at the girls’ golf sectional held Saturday at the Greensburg Country Club. For the seventh straight time, the Lady Bulldogs won the sectional championship.
Batesville finished with a team-total 346. Greensburg finished second with 362 and Franklin County was third with 384. Those three teams advance to the regional this Saturday at The Legends Golf Club in Franklin.

Shelbyville was fourth with 398 followed by East Central 430, South Ripley 439, Jac-Cen-Del 439, Oldenburg Academy 444, North Decatur 444, South Decatur 492, Southwestern-Shelby 492 and Milan incomplete.
The Lady Bulldogs were led by sophomore Stella Maple with a 79 to earn medalist honors. Alexis Gallagher was third overall with 83. Grace Saner carded an 87. Adelyne Koehne had a 97 and Makenna Moore finished with 100.
The top three finishers from non-advancing teams also move on to the regional as individuals. Shelbyville’s Julie Garrison (85), North’s Mary Stier (95) and Shelbyville’s Hana Stenger (99) are advancing.
Greensburg was led by Kahlen Adams with 84. Payton Bright and Ella Kate Stewart both finished with 92. Taylor Gould had a 94 and Haleigh Stewart finished with 102.

Following Stier for North was Grace Nobbe 106, Ellie Grote 113, Macy Kinker 130 and Kenzie Duckworth 137.
South was led by Miley Ward with 113. Lilliana Hamer had a 122 followed by Kenzie Troutman 126 and Lillyan Asher 131.
