All the big claims from the explosive new Beckham biography published today.

An explosive new Beckham biography was released today that made sensational claims about the famous family.

Many centre around the now infamous fallout with Brooklyn Beckham and his parents, David and Victoria following his six-page statement alleging his parents were “controlling” and claiming that Victoria danced “very inappropriately” at his wedding to Nicola Peltz.

Here are some of the book’s boldest claims.

There were concerns for Victoria after Brooklyn’s post

Victoria’s family were reportedly concerned for her after Brooklyn released his statement after she was left “inconsolable”. The book claims friends, family and staff rallied around her to ensure she had adequate support.

In the build up to the statement, the book alleges his cousins Libby and Tallulah (who are Victoria’s sister Louise’s children) were “canaries in the coalmine” and that they reportedly they tried to warn their aunt and uncle, David and Victoria to “brace themselves for the worst”.

Brooklyn ‘didn’t want’ to do the statement

A friend of Brooklyn’s told the books author that although Brooklyn “definitely wrote the first draft”, he had help from several other people.

“There was interest and input from other people. It’s silly to think your wife isn’t going to weigh in on this one,” they said, adding “little bits she wrote”. It was suggested that the statement was also likely viewed by the Peltz family’s legal team.

Other sources added that Brooklyn, 27, didn’t want to release the statement but felt he had no choice. “There’s so much more Brooklyn can say,” a source commented, Another claimed: “Brooklyn didn’t want to do this”.

The wedding fiasco

The infamous wedding which was the pivotal moment that led to much of the strife between Brooklyn and his new wife and his parents was examined in detail.

The book claimed that the Rabbi called Brooklyn ‘David’ twice during the wedding ceremony, and laughed off this awkward mistake by joking that he was a football fan. This was made all the more uncomfortable because allegedly Brooklyn and David were not on speaking terms for at least three months before the wedding.

It was also claimed that David’s speech spoke about their father-son relationship and was ‘odd’. One guest claimed it was very long and nothing to do with the bride.

In his lengthy statement, Brooklyn claimed: “My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife…Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone.”

In the book, some people who have seen the video of the dance said it was “honestly very weird” and “uncomfortable to watch”. However, other wedding guests said they saw nothing weird and that it was a “natural moment to everyone else” with Marc Anthony encouraging them to put their arms around one another in a Latin-style dance.

A guest claimed: “David and Vic has no idea there was supposed to be a second first dance,” noting the couple had danced earlier in the night, and Nicola had already danced with her father by that point.

Nicola and Brooklyn want to have children soon

Unnamed sources claim Nicola, 31, and Brooklyn want to expand their family with the source added that it could be rather soon as “they see that in their next couple of years”.

The couple, have spoken about wanting to have several children in the past. In a previous interview with The Times in 2022, Nicola said: “He wants kids yesterday,” but she wanted to wait “a couple of years”. Nicola added they want several children: “We definitely want a big family. He has three siblings, and I have seven.”

When asked if she really wanted 8 children she replied: “It’s a lot, but… I don’t know. We want to adopt some kids and have some of our own. That would be the dream.”

Victoria and David are ‘closer than ever’

An associate of Victoria’s told the author that the fallout has brought her and David closer and they “never got on as well as they do now.” They added that “the pain of it all has brought them closer together. they are in lock step. I’ve not see them so happy together since the really early days.”

However other parts of the book emphasised that sources have claimed Victoria “misses [Brooklyn] every hour of every day”.

It was also claimed that sources say Nicola “will never stop” Brooklyn having relationship with his family but at this moment “she is over it.” They also added that Brooklyn is “still so sad about it still.”
