On the inaugural day of the Abhivyakti Season 4 Lit Fest held at Chandimandir, actor Boman Irani captivated the audience with his engaging storytelling and reflections on his journey in Bollywood. The festival, organized by the Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA), commenced at the Khetarpal Officers’ Mess and Institute, Headquarters Western Command, and is themed “Explore, Express and Experience.”
During his session, Boman Irani shared insights about his childhood struggles and the perseverance that led him to success in the film industry. He expressed gratitude for being part of such a revered gathering, stating, “We are proud of our Army. Their valour has stories to be told for the next 50 years.”
The day featured a variety of panel discussions that included topics like “Unshackling the Financial Labyrinth,” moderated by Major General Anand Saxena, and explorations of India’s civilizational history by author Neelesh Kulkarni. Additionally, several books were launched, including Aalekh by Meenu Tripathi and Abhaya, which highlights the lives of influential Indian women.
The three-day literary festival aims to celebrate literature and creativity, drawing participation from a diverse array of personalities including authors, poets, and artists. The event will conclude on November 10, promising more engaging discussions and activities.
